Our Engineering Capabilities
Cutting Dynamics’ Engineering Department designs and manufactures custom form tooling in-house for hydroform, brake press, hot forming, and composite forming operations.
In conjunction with our Quality Assurance Department, we also design, manufacture, and qualify inspection gauges and fixtures for parts that are too complex to inspect using traditional methods.
Forming software allows our engineers to evaluate multiple tooling designs and forming processes before tools and prototypes are made, saving time and cost.
Our Engineering Department personnel conduct their own trials, evaluate sample parts, and adjust tooling accordingly.
